Another issue to share here about the latest purchased for travel deals to Glory Beach Resort from JackCow which is only RM 97 for 2D 1N. This was my friend's first experience and she is really disappointing with this purchase and will think twice to purchase any other deal in future for travel deals and also from JackCow.

She wish to stay during weekdays, but was informed by the merchant, only weekends are available and need surcharge of RM 99 Fri - Sat. They said everything is fully book for weekdays, and the sentence as below

 It's still very reasonable :) . Weekend charges in as per hotel rates are easily RM350.00++

Well, the choice is all yours :) You stay on weekends, you get the weekend benefits :) ... Weekdays also has it's benefits (less people crowding in the pool)
In my opinion. i don't think in such a hotel quality weekend charges is up to RM 350. She even checked the website room charges is lower than this amount. Morever, after she bought this deal, she immediately email to the merchant to make a booking, but the email replied to her only after 2 days. I also will not agree. All weekdays room are f ully book and not even in a school holiday month??

So she request for full refund as this voucher is not being used yet within the voucher period, but was rejected. She can get the full refund but she will be charge 3% of the total amount purchased as admin fee. JackCow claimed that this terms is stated in the website.

There will be an admin fee charge of 3%, or a minimum charge of RM2, for all BANK refunds requested/made.

So as the trend now, online deals website and merchant is very smart and they are more concern on the terms. Now it is really hard to get a full refund, depend on situation, and perhaps, we need to do more research on each updated terms in the website.
