I still recall the day when my pediatrician
gave me the small pack of Friso Gold Milk Powder at Tung Shin Hospital in year

Best pictures taken together. All with cheeky smiles and posing on their own when I bring them travel. Milk supply is a must during our trips. I will usually pack more because my second girl will need her milk at least 3 times continuously at night. If they play long hours, I will ensure they have their milk time in between.They love to explore them selves checking out the new resorts or hotels facilities and siblings have fun together teasing each other and their laughter always cheers me up . One hour drives to a perfect gateway during this school
holiday. Sounds good to you? That’s what we did last weekend driving to the
north of Banting heading to Amverton Cove @ Carey Island that is about 72 km
from our home at Setapak. It was a fun and memorable staycation, a truly
incredible experience especially for my kids to get them close to nature.
Amverton Cove is my ideal staycation for family with small kids like me. They have everything under one roof. Beautiful place and well maintained resort, facilities for the both adult and kids can enjoy, and help to rejuvenate you at the Sompoton Spa. Sneak away from the city center for two days is enough to energize ourselves.
We reached early at 12.30noon and the check in was fast. The friendly resort staff greet us with welcome.
Amverton Cove has six types of accommodation which you can choose to suites your family pax. Deluxe Family, Deluxe Room, Premier Suite, Courtyard Villa, Amverton Villa, and Lakefront Chalet.
We stay at Premiere Suite at level 1which has the following features :

,swimming pool, paddle boat, biking, boat riding, kayaking,
archery, paintball, rock climbing, Kid's ATV, Scooter , Yoyo car and
many more.

The Golfer's Terrace. Great dining ambiance for relaxation and serenity.
After the short tour, we had our quick lunch at Golfer's Terrace. They
served local cuisines at reasonable price. The portion of food is
charitable and worth the money you are paying for . We order orange juice, watermelon asam boi and coconut for some refreshing moment.
We choose the set lunch that comes with large pot of fish meat curry, omelette and mix vegetables. Also comes with a platter of rojak buah. All this for RM 75++ suitable for family of 2-3 pax. We add on crispy chicken wing which I highly recommended. The chicken meat was juicy and tender! All food are prepared upon ordering.
Delicious meal and we are so contented..
My kids are aiming at the opposite small island nagging me to bring them to the animal island. They can't sit longer and waiting excitedly to jump on the boat ride. All of us need to wear the life jacket and my boy are quite afraid of that. He refused to wear it at first. I need to struggle abit here. Ok..we are set to go! It's my first time bringing them to have boat ride with life jacket on..wow..what a nice experience yeah..

Walking around the animal island. There are feeding session where you can get in touch with the animal. Besides, if you want to see the snake show, it is only available at 11am and 5pm.

Next, we checking out the kids play zone. The playarea has a colourful setting complete with slides, obstacles, trampoline, pool of balls, legos, cooking toys and etc. My kids can spend long hours here

Moreover, for more entertainment needs, you can go to The
Hummingbird Entertainment Lounge which is well equipped with pool, snooker and
foosball tables. You can choose the VIP Karaoke rooms if you wan to sing along with your families.

Delightful breakfast that are simple and yet delicious! Nasi lemak with sambal sotong, chow kuey teow, sausages, hash browns, baked beans, potatoes, nuggets, roti canai and they also have salad and porridge. Kids will love the cereal selection as well.

The most funny moment whereby my kids keep telling me they
are very scared of the insects here. They keep asking me what is that? Where is
comes from? Why the insects is there? I
need to recall some of the insects name. It’s a good experience for them. Butterfly, bettle, spider, dragonfly, worms,
red ants, ants, weird insects as what they claimed and much more. Mummy and
daddy can’t stop laughing looking at them why they are so afraid. The next
round mummy will planned for further exciting trip to beach resort and they
could get new experience and more excitement! Perhaps monkey standing at the
balcony or hornbill standing beside you waiting for food at the restaurant.
