Wonderful Lunch at Calia Pavilion

We had a wonderful lunch at Calia located at Pavilion Level 6.

Calia is a unique Australian restaurant-to-retail brand created in 2016 in Melbourne celebrating the finest in local Australian and international produce – both in the restaurant and in the adjoining retail marketplace. 

Designed by Michelin Star Chef Francisco Araya, using the highest quality sustainable ingredients.

We tried few of the recommendations and signature food.

Calia Aburi Salmon simply melts in the mouth.

Next we have the Grilled eel with homemade unagi sauce and truffle egg on Japanese Akitakomachi rice. 

Signature Grilled Yuzu Lamb Chop -Tender and flavourful.

Ebi Tem is definitely worth trying.

We also love the Ebi Ramen and  Soft Shell crab refreshing salad with Avocado.

French free-range chicken + Truffle Teriyaki Sauce + Yuzu Kosho = Truffle Chicken! A special dish for lunch.

Delicious dessert treat with Matcha Lava cake- a rich enticing chocolate lava cake with oozing warm matcha ganache. Must order this! 

We love the food here and friendly service from the restaurant. Definitely a great place to gather with friends and family.

Mookata at Moon Kra Thai Buffet @ Gombak

Me and hubby found this hidden place at Moon Kra Thai Mookata & Steamboat , Jalan Gombak. It is located at Level 5 rooftop. You have to go up to level 4 via lift and climb staircase to reach the rooftop. Unlimited buffet with variety choices of ingredients and I was surprised that the price here is so affordable!

The set is simple. You can choose for ⭐Unlimited buffet set for Standard Package with pork slice or premium seafood set. Then, add on RM5 for unlimited refill of drinks (Thai Milk Tea, Green Thai Milk Tea, sour plum, and many more), ice cream and dessert.

We go for Seafood set that comes with fresh prawns, scallops,  squid flower, fish fillet, abalone slice and smoked duck slice. 

You can seasoned the meat and seafood with the marinate sauce given such as Korean Spicy Sauce, Thai Green Chili Sauce and Black Pepper Sauce.

The sets feature the dual delight of the grill pan on the domed centre with the surrounding steaming-hot Tom Yam soup.

The seafood is fresh, super addictive and tasty. The thin pork slice is easy to grill and we just love the flavour of the marinated sauce.

Good dining ambience with KLCC view. Authentic Thai BBQ experience, Delicious food and worth to visit! The staff service is very good too.

Hotpot at Xi Shua Shua Prima Setapak

We found another nice place to enjoy hotpot together with some comfort food at XiShuaShua Hotpot located at Prima Setapak.

There are several types of soup we can choose:-

Penang Tom Yam Soup

Pig Maw Pepper Soup

Other soup choices:-

Spicy Mala Soup

Spicy Sour Soup

Mushroom Soup

Delicious soup and fresh ingredients prepared daily. I love the taste of the Pig Maw Pepper Soup and my kids enjoy the taste of the Herbal Soup. 

We choose for Pork Belly Set and Seafood Set.Generous portion of the Pork Belly slice and fresh seafood especially the gigantic Prawn with XL size. 

We also add on some ingredients for the hotpot such as cheese taufu, seafood taufu, prawn paste and mushroom.

I love the idea of having individual pot for single set that we choose. 

Perfect day to have hotpot dining experience during the rainy day with my family. Price is reasonable and you can also apply for the member card to get a plate of pork belly and 15% discount.
