That's how we feel the moment we step into Herbaline Wellness Sanctuary Ipoh. We had a great staycation last Saturday and we love the facilities here.A true escape away from our busy city life and to seek absolute serenity and relaxation.

The wellness sanctuary consisting of Sojourn Guest House, HerbaLine Facial Spa and Mama Kim Wellness Kitchen. 'Eat Well, Look Well & Live Well'. We get the refreshing experience which rejuvenates, heals and soothes the body, mind and soul.

Sojourn Guest House

With a tagline “Like home but better” - Sojourn, being French for “a short stay” offers a relaxing experience that guests will enjoy with the comfort of a home but with a bit more luxury. There are 41 rooms in total, ranging from simple Superior Rooms to spacious and luxurious Signature Family Rooms. Each floor exudes a different sense of comfort & coziness and has its own designated lounges designed respectively for kids, cozy ladies group and family corner for chilling.

Extremely love the refreshing lemongrass aroma surrounds the whole area and kids are jumping to joy to check out the Deluxe Quad Room at level 1.

Warm and relaxing stay for some family bonding time together. Kids love the spacious Deluxe Family Quad room that comes with two bed and ample of space for them.

Clean, pleasant and impressive room that fit perfectly for 6 of us.

Basic amenities is provided for in house guest. Beautiful sink bowl!

Face and Hand Towel, Hair dryer, Iron and ironing board, Safety box, Slippers are provided.

Showers with complete toiletries such as Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Love the fragrance.

The room flooring is good and safe for kids especially the non slippery flooring at the shower area and nearby the sink corner. Water flow is perfect!

Lots of space movement for the kids to play around and surely can fit in extra bed if you need it.

Complimentary green tea and hot water outside the room available all the time plus a bottle of purified water. It is very convenient for me especially for preparing milk for my baby.
Cozy, comfort and rejuvenating moments at the chill area. Kids can play their board game/card game around the area or lay back and read a book.

Roof Garden (3^rd Floor) – This secret al-fresco sanctuary surrounded by greenery is perfect for cozy and intimate gathering.

Herbaline Facial Spa

Me and hubby have a good pampering session with facial spa and Antioxidants hot bed therapy. We really need a 'Me-Time' and get to experience the spa session finally.

Guests can go for a quick recharge when they patron the HerbaLine Facial Spa. Staying true to its “no sign course policy, consumers’ minds are immediately put to ease when they visit this facial spa which offers various cleansing, moisturizing and lifting facials or Body Massage Treatments -- complemented by value-added services such as sea salt foot bath, fish spa therapy, detox lemongrass drinks etc. After a few hours of quiet rejuvenation and amazing facial treatment of relaxing body massages, one is guaranteed to re-emerge fresh, radiant and reinvigorated.

The Antioxidant Hot Bed Therapy room

I tried The Antioxidant Hot Bed Therapy and this is quite exclusive and only available in Herbaline Wellness Ipoh and Herbaline Bandar Botanic Klang. It is powered by cutting-edge technology from Japan.

After changing the attire, i have to enter this treatment room and laying down on a 42°C – 45°C hot bed. Relax my mind and to feel the heat in the room. 40 minutes of hot bed therapy is enough to give me that amazing sweats and i feel refresh!!

Among the benefits are

1. Stimulate collagen production and restore skin elasticity
2. Stimulate cell regeneration and promote metabolism
3. Reduce dark spots over time
4. Delay skin aging.

Mama Kim Wellness Kitchen

We had our dinner at Mama Kim Wellness Kitchen located at Ground Floor.

Mama Kim Wellness Kitchen offers a comprehensive menu with a philosophy of “Where Healthy Is Yummy”. The healthy recipes with the concept of 80% vegetable and 20% meat in a single dish makes Mama Kim a stand-out for the neighborhood / community who desires healthy, authentic yummy dishes.

The principles of Mama Kim’s dishes include:

Fresh ingredients
No MSG
No white flour
No sugar, less salt, less deep fried.
Balanced nutrients
80% vegetables / 20% meat average

No holiday is complete without a good meal. Must try the bubbling hot Sauna Mee. The signature Sauna Mee is served in a hot stone bowl that keeps the broth hot and keeps simmering. Choices of fish or vegetarian and pair with brown rice, pumpkin noodle or mushroom noodle. Healthy dinner that is packed with lots of nutritious ingredients.

Our family favourite - The Natural fruit and flower tea. Refreshing drinks with mixture of fresh fruits. Sweet and appetizing!

Breakfast selection in Mama Kim is also quite interesting with Omelette, kaya toast bun and Rainbow noodle.

Kids friendly place and everything is under one roof. The perfect avenue for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.

I will highly recommend to my friends and family especially those with kids. Sojourn Guesthouse is definitely my top choice of stay in Ipoh that provides safe and comfy environment. Family friendly guesthouse with great hospitality and friendly staff that make our stay unforgettable.

Moreover, the location of Herbaline Wellness Sanctuary Ipoh is very convenient and just less than 10 minutes drive to Ipoh Old Town. We visited many places of interest in Ipoh City and enjoyed the food hunt of Ipoh delicacies.

Funtasy House Trick Art is located in the heart of Ipoh Old Town and there are more than 20 trick art perform by local artist, in your unexpected way. Funtasy = Fun + Fantasy. It is a perfect combination for visitor to come here and have fun moment together. This is our first tour to Ipoh Town and we are pretty excited to explore this unique place that are built inside the old shophouses. When we reach at the entrance, the staff will ask us to take off our shoes and she will wrapped all inside a plastic bag and placed at the corner side. After getting our entrance ticket, we are ready to go inside to explore the Trick art museum.

Funtasy House Trick Art is a nice place for family bonding time with the kids. We get to take lots of pictures inside and pose what ever pose we like. Thinking of the trick art drawing and how to pose.We are impressed by the beautiful hand-painted 3D interactive trick art here.

Learn some Kung Fu skill first

Interesting drawing with different trick art reflection. Just go wild with your imagination and creativity. The staff is quite helpful to take pictures for us and show us how to pose at every drawings. There are indications of where the place should the cameraman stand and what pose is suggested for us to follow.

Must visit place for family outing and to have fun photo moment together. We enjoy the overall session and this round my kiddos seems to be having more creative idea on how to pose on the photos.

We had a great vacation at The Haven Resort Hotel Ipoh- All Suites last weekend and a memorable trip to Ipoh Town. This is our first visit to Ipoh and I thought of bringing the kids to ride on the ETS Train which took us only about 2 hours 20 minute to reach here. The whole journey was pleasant and the kids get to see the greenery and places along the way. It only took us 20 minutes to arrive to The Most Amazing Hidden Luxury Resort in Ipoh. It has 3 Towers, each 26-storey high, made up 512 units of high-end luxury suites. The development boasts 8-level security, 5-star facilities, and 5-star operation by The Haven Premier.

Haven's All Natural Drink - This was the best welcome drink I ever had. Mixture of homemade recipe with natural ingredients of Chamomile Flower, Ginger, Lime, Cinnamon, and Lemongrass. Aromatic and healthy drink just nice for this humid weather.

We are given the hotel access card and we need to scan the card before pressing the desired floor inside the lift. Tight security and each tower have guard standing at the side.

Our family suites that comes with 2+1 bedroom. Big space in the living hall that comes with comfortable sofa, LCD TV with Astro Channel and most important they have Disney Channel to entertain my kids, and best they have FREE WIFI for inhouse guest.

Rooms are tastefully furnished and the temperature in the suite was soothing with a nice breeze when you open the balcony door.

Our Master Bedroom comes with King size bed, separate shower and a huge indoor Jacuzzi tub. Wardrobe that is complete with bathrobes,slippers, hangers, iron and ironing board and a safe box to keep our belongings. Living hall and All rooms are air conditioning, pleasant, hygienic and all well maintained.

The resort features a stunning 5-level sea-horse shaped infinity pool with a Jacuzzi, leisure pool, lap pool, children’s pool with slide, and wading pool.

We love spending our time here at the swimming pool especially the kids as they enjoy the children slides the most. Relaxing moment looking at the calming lakeside while having a great swim time.

There is also a clubhouse with a fully-equipped gym, a squash court, a badminton court, a table tennis room, and a poolside bar & restaurant for residents and guests a refreshing and healthy work-out within nature. You can also opt to rent a bicycle to cycle around.

After a good swimming session, we had our dinner at the Cuisines. Halal restaurant that serve local and Western delicacies in a nice cozy atmosphere. The staff is friendly and dedicated attending to my kids needs with kids cutlery.

Daddy wanted to walk inside the rainforest to get the different feeling at night. Sounds creepy to me but not to him as he feeling so excited taking few night scene pictures and he seems to enjoy it so much.

I love the swimming pool view at night especially. There is no activity at night after 10.30pm. This resort is to encourage us to sleep early and take a good rest in this calm and relaxing place.

The next morning, we had our breakfast at the Cuisines. Such a good weather and sunny Saturday morning!Kids got up early and they are ready to savour the delicious breakfast spread.

We choose the outdoor seats that are facing the lakeside and the pool. Variety of food offerings that cater for all. Chef getting Fresh ingredients from Market daily and they do not use any artificial addictive.We won't feel thirsty because no MSG in all the food serving here.

If you love jogging activity, you can venture this 600-metre jogging track that was built around the lake. The pathway is safe to walk and in fact they actually preserved it quite good. Tranquil environment with mountain fresh air

Very relaxing and serene place. Kids in good mood to walk along with us making our way inside the natural rainforest.
