VCR @ Jalan Galloway Pudu, Kuala Lumpur

We always pass by VCR when we drive our way to Main Main cafe for lunch. VCR is located at Jalan Galloway along the way to the Swiss-Garden Hotel and few rows of old houses. Never did I know such cafe exists here. VCR is Hidden at the corner lot with no signboard and only a small board here showing the menu and opening hours. The entrance is mysterious and if I were to walk around this area, I will love to peep inside this cafe to find out more.

From this view, we are seeing a residential house with a traditional post box and walkway to the entrance door. The whole place is with black colour concept, painted panels and wooden stools and tables.

We ordered 2 cups of Latte, Grapefruit & Chamomile ( In bottle), and espresso. Reasonble price for the portion that we are getting. That is really a large cup of Latte. Love the design and the aromatic hot drinks is definitely my best choice for today

Here comes the Potato Waffle (RM 22). We are so impressed by the food. Russet potato waffle served with generous portion of mushroom fricassee, herb salad, tomato fondue, 63 degree Celsius free range egg . Savoury soft and fluffy waffle on the inside and crispy delicious on the outside layer.

Great hang out place with quiet ambiance

Beautifully platted French Toast (RM 18)  - Fluffy brioche french toast, berries compote, crumbles, mocha sauce espresso based ice cream.  The ice cream flavour  is really something special that we all never try before. The whole combination is so perfect.

We enjoyed the food here and will surely coming back to try their VCR Big Breakfast soon.
