Grandmama's @ Pavilion, KL

Grandmama's is another new concept serving local cuisines at a very reasonable price inside Pavilion and it is actually located at level 6, nearby Din Tai Fung. The restaurant is fill up with bright lights and nice seats available and suitable for family to dine in.The staff is very friendly and greets with warm welcome and smiles.

i try this nasi lemak istimewa that is worth RM 22. The combination of tri-coloured rice, big and crispy drumstick and also a beef rendang. The manager is very  kind to change the beef to chicken rendang for me as i can't take any beef. The rice is very fragrant served on top of the banana leafs and not to forget the big prawns and the sambal blends so well. The chicken rendang is so delicious and spicy enough  This dish is really worth the value and the quality of the food here is really good!

The Chow Kuey Teow is not oily, and the portion just nice for one person serving. Flavourful with lots of seafood given in generous portion and the prawns is obviously big enough. Spice up this dish with some hot chili padi even taste better.

Cater for large group seats arrangement. Comfortable place to dine in

During lunch time, all seats are fully occupied and might need to queue up after 1pm. The seats extends to outside corridor as well.

The top 10 high selling local Asian food can be found here. There are Sang Har Mee, Fish Head Meehon, Nasi Lemak, Hainan Chicken Rice, Chow Kuey Teow and also the Curry Laksa, Temping and mouth watering menu and the price is only from RM 15 onwards. Reasonable price with the right portion of the food and in the nice modern dining atmosphere.

I love this place and i am coming back surely to try on the other menu.

Six Inch Cafe @ PV128 Setapak

RM20 Taste Voucher for any food listed on the menu (suitable for 1 person) @ Six Inch Cafe. Located at PV128, Setapak along Jalan Genting Klang, this cafe is easily spotted with their BIG sigboard especially at night. We managed to get two vouchers and can ordered up to RM 40 of food and drinks from the menu.

There are ample of parking available and the place is not crowded at 6.30pm when we reach. The waiter although mostly are foreigners, but some managed to understand what we need. We ordered this Teriyaki Pork Chop RM 17.90. Big portion of the pork chop, easily cut off, marinated well with teriyaki sauce. However, i find that the sauce is different taste from Teriyaki Sauce that i try in the Japanese Restaurant.

Carrot juice with milk for RM 5.90.

Cheese baked spaghetti with bolognese RM 13.50. The aroma of the cheese is so good and the spaghetti all mixed with minced pork bolognese in the middle.

I guess too much of sauce and cheese. But it was delicious.

Comfortable and friendly ambiance. They serve western food and Asian delights with unplugged singer everyday from 9pm-12am.

Large seating place on the upper level. Good place to hang out and gathering with friends. When we dine in, we saw TV3 having their shot here upstairs promoting Six Inch Cafe

In my opinion, the price is quite high and expensive

Special outdoor deco with greenery grass, but i guess if outdoor seating might have mosquitoes

Black & White Station is a Fusion Cafe. There are  Western meals, Malaysian meals and Hong Kong meals that you can choose. If you are steamboat lover, they also have shabu shabu buffet at 1st floor. Mostly the menu are quite common (rice, noodles, and western choices). The price range is reasonable , not too expensive. But the parking here is really hard to find.

We ordered the Hong Kong Pork Chop Rice (RM 12.50). The cheese is thick and creamy. The taste is good just like any other taste you can find in Kim Gary or Station One.

Claypot Galaxy RM 8.80. Large portion but the gravy is too much. Watery and tasteless. Need to request for sambal. Ingredient comes with mix vege, egg, chicken.

Apple juice for only RM 4.90 .Fresh squeeze apple juice.

I find that this place deco is old and dull. Not attractive at all. Large dining place indoor and outdoor, but i am not really comfortable dining here because the area is warm as the main entrance is open wide.

Reasonable set lunch only at RM 9.90. Start from 12pm - 5pm(Daily)  you can have one Main dish + Drink + Dessert~~ Over 20 kinds of Set Lunch you can choose!
