Din Tai Fung @ Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur

We visited Din Tai Fung during the lunch hour at Pavilion. It seems like every restaurant is crowded and need to queue up. We waited for 3 minutes for our tables to be ready and we are directed to the corner end with a big semi private section. However, the air conditioning is very bad here. We ordered few dishes and the serving time is less than 10 minutes.

Fried rice

Seaweed soft taufu  I enjoy this comfort food

The fillings with crab meat

Pleasurable Xiao Long Bao. Perfectly done with thin skin and juicy in every bite. Best to have it with vinegar and ginger

Succulent Sweet and sour chicken meat.

Long beans with minced meat - my favourite

Fried salted egg with pumpkin - Not crisp enough, but somehow aromatic and taste good

Shrimp fried rice

Upset with this fried fish - tasteless

We did not enjoy much inside the stuffy dining environment. Services is just average and our total damage is RM 260 for 7 person. The overall portion is expected to be small and the food quality is still maintain to be good as for now. With the GST implemented, I doubt I will dine in again.
