If you are looking for delectable, authentic halal Indian & Middle Eastern cuisine, make your visit to Spice Garden. Spice Garden is located at the LINC KL, one of the best Indian Restaurants in Kuala Lumpur and is extremely popular with locals, expatriates and tourists.
Spice Garden is a well-known semi-fine dining restaurant, serving authentic Indian and Middle-Eastern cuisine. Established in 2003 with its first restaurant in Genting Highlands, Spice Garden boasts of a wide variety of tantalizing dishes, crafted using time-tested traditional recipes that blends fresh spices and herbs from India and cooked to perfection, mostly through a “tandoor” which is a barrel-shaped open top clay oven that is fired by charcoals. “We cook our dishes using centuries old recipes and techniques that are indispensable to the preparation of truly authentic Indian cuisines,” said the restaurant’s chef Bharat Batra, who is also a director at Focus 88 Sdn. Bhd., the company that owns and operates Spice Garden restaurants.
“What makes our dishes even more special is that we only use original spices and herbs without artificial flavouring, colouring or preservatives,” said the second-generation director, whose father, Pradeep Batra, founded the restaurant.
“In addition, our dishes are all freshly cooked and not reheated which can cause it to become oily,” explained Bharat, who was trained in the field of hotel management in Switzerland.
“A perfect dish is not just about ingredients and recipes but also highly dependent on the chef, whose culinary expertise and attention to details will determine the outcome of the dishes,” he said.
“Thus, our cooks are sent to India for a year to master the knowledge, skills and techniques needed for the preparation of truly authentic, Indian and Middle-Eastern cuisines,” he elaborated.
Complimentary serving of Papadum and House Mint Sauce. A good starter to kick start our meal.
Tandoori Chicken (Full) . The chicken meat is tender and well marinated with ginger, garlic, herbs and spices. It is grilled to perfection and remaining the juiciness of the meat from within.

Venison Kebab
This is quite a unique serving for starter. The Venison Kebab is flavourful and the meat is coated well with all the herbs and spices.

Fish Kolivada
This was my favourite among all. The boneless meat is fresh and flaky, The seabass is marinated and deep fried to perfection. The gravy combination is appetizing and full of flavour of herbs and spices.

Chef mentioned that “We cook our meals in a balanced manner that is suitable for everyone, young or old,” he said. “Plus, our pork-free cuisine can be made to order such as if the customers prefer their meals nut-free, gluten-free and not spicy, or, even if they would like to avoid feeling sleepy after their meals or need more energy.”
Mutton Khazana Biryani (2Pax) and Assorted Bread Basket (Multi Grain, white flour and Whole Wheat)
Served along with Palak Paneer, Sea Bass Fish Curry, Venison Masala and Chicken Almond Gravy

Mutton Khazana Biryani (2Pax)
Khazana Biryani is the first of its kind special dish that is solely created and only served in Spice Garden. The briyani rice is cooked to perfection within a unique whole wheat bread wrap that allows the charcoal heat to be evenly distributed, allowing the flavour and aroma of the herbs and spices to be throughly spread on the rice and the meat. You can opt for meat, seafood or vegetables selections.

Gulab Jamun -Sweet desserts to end our meal.
