I love Malaysian cuisines with their traditional cooking practices that makes me so tempting. Nasi Ulam, Nasi Kunyit, ABC, Rojak, Durian Pancake, Yam Cake, Nyonya Laksa, Asam Laksa, Nasi Lemak and the list goes on. I have found a place where you can savour these delicacy under one roof at Sepiring MidValley located at Level 1.

Sepiring means ‘sharing the same plate’, bringing people together one plate at a time. They carries an exciting variety with recipes from all corners of Malaysia and this harmonious blend of flavours makes them 'uniquely Malaysian'.

Bright and spacious dining environment with warm welcome by the staff.

We are here for the food tasting session to discover some of the menu have traditional recipe from different state - Negeri Sembilan, Terengganu, Penang, Kelantan and many more. Eating here has a nostalgic moment and reminder of village life where we used to get homemade yam cakes, nasi kunyit and keropok lekor.
My favourite Nasi Kunyit with Curry Chicken
Turmeric glutinous rice served with chicken curry. Tender chicken braised in fragrant curry sauce. This is my craving! Yum.

Nyonya Nasi Ulam with Ayam Percik - Highly recommend for those who love keropok lekor and nasi ulam. Fragrant rice with enough spices, salted egg and tender ayam percik. The perfect marriage taste of Terengganu and Kelantan cuisines that I can have it all here.
Yam CakeYam cake pieces served with dried shrimps, fried shallots, spring onions and chili. Delicious serving of freshly made yam cake with their homemade chili sauce. This is so much difference from other yam cake that I have tried before. It is filled up with goodness of yam, soft and pleasant texture.
Spicy Smoked Beef Pasta originally from Negeri sembilan
Durian Pancake - This is the signature desserts that you must try! The durian pancake is fresh with generosity on the durian flesh covered with thin skin crepe.

Smooth pancake with delicious durian
Penang Rojak is Worth mentioning! I am feeling contented with the thick sauce servings with mixture of fresh fruits inside. The mild spiciness is very appetizing and blends well with the rojak sauce.
Nasi Pandan with Ayam Berempah
Served with traditional condiments of egg, cucumber, peanuts and crispy anchovies. Charitable amount of peanuts given and fried anchovies. Succulent Fried turmeric chicken with deep marination.

There are 3 types of noodles that you must try in Sepiring. These noodles choices are equally delicious and has their own authentic taste. The first one will be the Asam Laksa.
Authentic taste of the Asam Laksa. Addictive noodles with sourish and spicy taste that makes you wanna add more on the prawn paste. Thick and Tasty broth.

Nyonya Laksa  - A warm bowl of this delicious Nyonya Laksa is just another perfect dish. Serving of thick rice noodles (lai fun), shredded chicken and prawns.

Curry Laksa  -Serving With Shanghai noodles, barbecued chicken and shrimp dumplings. Moist and tender barbecued chicken meat and springy noodles texture. Thumbs up for the flavourful and aromatic laksa broth that makes me so addictive!
